Disney World

The Kids and I had a great time in Disney. There was one thing missing though....Unfortunately Greg was out of town because of work :(

Maxx was in heaven as he got to meet all of his favorite TV/Movie characters. Alexa was just as excited but didn't hesitate at all when she saw them. Again the only thing that would have made it a perfect trip is if Daddy was with us. Next time.

Today was fun. Maxx and Alexa are now at a point that they are playing together. OK its not always perfect, but much better than it use to be. So we went to the beach and enjoyed the water and the warm sun. I swear that my car has more sand in it than a sand box. :)

Catching up- Alexa's first swim lesson and kids goofing around

The weather has been unreal in Jupiter. So we have had tons of outings to the beach, the park and just all around Jupiter with the kids.

Alexa had her first swim lesson last week. She is now 17 months - I know it took me long enough. She has been in the pool a lot but hadn't had any formal swim lessons. So far she is doing great. We have had a lot going on lately. Our wonderful nanny Ashlie left us. After 16 months - its been tough on all of us. We were lucky enough though to have found an amazing new nanny - her name is Amanda. She is full of energy and really great with the kids. So the kids are now enrolled in Amanda Camp this summer :) Amanda is planning lots of outings with the kids.

Easter eggs and visiting the animals

Last week was a great week with the kids. We painted easter eggswith Maxx's girlfriend Megan and we went to see the animals at the wildlife rescue center in Jupiter. Also included in this bunch are some pictures at the park and Alexa on Maxx's scooter. Its so funny cause she gets on it and says "all aboard". How she knows that I have no clue. Honestly she is constantly amazing me with everything she is picking up.

Well I had to share these photo's as we went to this new place to get a haircut for the kids. It is called Sweet & Sassy. It is a cute new haircut/spa for kids. How nuts is that. Little girls can get pedicures and manicures and get their hair all done up there. The idea is great - but it also scares me to think what are we teaching our little girls at such a young age. Don't get me wrong, they did a great job with both of the kids haircuts and it was only $15 each. The bonus was that I didn't have to sit with them and hold them down and get hair all over me. Another great thing was that the kids were having fun while getting their haircuts. No crying or fussing - it was great. Getting Alexa a mani and pedi sounds tempting trust me, but at the same time I think I will wait.

March 2008 - how time flies when you are having fun

We have had a fun few weeks. Maxx and Alexa got Tonsilitts last week and Alexa has 4 new teeth coming in. Poor mommy and daddy right? Alexa is talking up a storm these days - I think she has at least 40 words now. Maxx is learning a lot of new skills these days too -one being skating and he also loves his scooter.

Ok this mean lizard bit Maxx's lip - I feel so bad as I told him to kiss it....opppss. Greg and Maxx love chansing the lizards in our court yard. Its funny cause Greg tries to get Alexa to chase the lizards and she has no interest :) just like her mommy.

I got a new toy. I got an iphone and so far i like it. So does maxx. Here he is watching a movie. Lets see how long this will last. Stay tuned.
